Catholic Life and Mission
Through our Building the Kingdom work, pupils explore big questions of meaning and purpose that arise throughout the Liturgical year and engage in creative tasks which develop their skills, and provide opportunities for them to reflect on how we can be agents for a Spirit-fuelled transformation of society. Pupils are encouraged to reflect on how we can be the leaders of tomorrow and the change we need to see in modern society.
The whole school studied Lenten signs and symbols as part of our Building the Kingdom work. We explored the three pillars of Lent: fasting, praying and almsgiving and how we can use these to grow in faith and work towards the common good.
In our Building the Kingdom work, we explored the Presentation of the Lord and how we can follow in Jesus’ footsteps to be the Light of the World.
The whole school enjoyed celebrating our Building the Kingdom afternoon for All Saints & All Souls. Each class explored their big question and produced some fantastic work.
The whole school celebrated Our Lady’s birthday in our Building the Kingdom afternoon.
